And? They are still losing marketshare. Apple is growing much slower than the market. And yes Android ships more *phones* than Apple ships *total* iOS *devices* (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad) per quarter (40 million Android smartphones compared to 33 million iOS devices).

Yes and if Apple gave away iOS for free to all the OEMs then i'm sure Apple would be right up their with Android in market share. Heck, while Apple was at it they might as well spend all their earnings like Google did last quarter. What's Google's stock price right now??...PATHETIC thats what.

UITabBarItem's image cannot contain color (in fact, as the doc states, "The alpha values in the source image are used to create the unselected and selected images"). You may be able to hack in your own subviews or you'll have to roll your own tab bar.

A very nice fake. Unfortunately, you'd have to change the CPU type from ARM7 to ARM6 on all the binary files then write the proper driver kext for the GPU.

I was out getting drunk after work- we're 13 hours ahead over here. One of my friends emailed me that an airplane had hit the World Trade Center. My wife also emailed me saying the same thing. I thought it was just a strange accident until I heard the second tower was hit soon afterwards and guessing something was wrong.

It was difficult to turn off the TV and sleep that night as all the Japanese networks were showing the same footage over and over again...

I have been waiting for a major upgrade to the cinema displays since I got my laptop in June 2006 - since waiting like the rest of you.

I wonder if eventually the iMac will be thinner than the current cinema displays, then they will have to upgrade.

To be honest, it doesn't need to be a major upgrade, take the price down by a third and half the thickness of the screen and I would be happy.

You're right.

I looked at the docs for applicationShouldTerminateAfterLastWindowClosed and it says:
It sends this message regardless of whether there are still panels open. (A panel in this case is defined as being an instance of NSPanel or one of its subclasses.)

So you need to handle this somehow, possibly like this:

I know someone at a smaller AT&T store (lynwood) and they're apparently getting 80 total. I hear supply is going to be tight.

Nobody else go to Northgate, ok? Its way out of my way (I live almost in downtown) but northgate is the best thing off top I can come up with and I was 11th in line there last year without problems.

What I don't understand is there is a perfectly good 4.3.0 exploit for the iPad 2. Why the hell can't comex simply release it for those of us who didn't upgrade?

The main problem I have is that there is a lot of wasted space between the banner ad and the rest of the page. On my screen it measures about 1/2" to the search box and over an inch to the top of the first news item. This means I have to scroll the screen to read the second article. I think you should put the search box next to the banner ad and move the whole of the rest of the page up to comperss it's vertical height. By doing this you can move the information up by over an inch.

I've been thinking this all along. However, the rumors don't seem to support a near release. But except for the price change, the Sept. iPod releases were not very revolutionary. Release this and watch what happens at holiday time. :D
