The sb26 should have no problem. My daughter is using my 20 years old little Nikon flash (name???) on her N65 film Nikon.
According to the 6) lens compatibility, you can use the non-cpu (non-AI, AI, AIS) lens in "M mode, but exposure meter won't function". My guess is: either it's like a lens adaptor, (and lose all auto-function!!!), e.g. a Hassy - Nikon adaptor or Nikkor-EOS adaptor. You focus with the lens wide open, manually turn-select your f-number, expose with the internal meter, and release shutter, ALL manually. Alternativelly, the diaphagm may "clock" automatically, but you have to meter using an external meter, set the exposure manually, and release shutter. Either way, you lose "exposure metering in one way or the other". The fore is just my guess. I would always try it out in a local store before buying anything (online).
BTW, I don't know your finanical situation and your aspiration (particularly future) for photography. You are buying into a (D)SLR system. The body is the cheapest part you buy. The rest of the system causes you two arms and a leg. Excuse my straightness (rudeness?). The three Nikon items don't worth much in the used market. I am a 25 years Nikonian, a technology trailer, currently have a F2AS and a D1 (and a Hassey, plus a couple broken Rollei TLRs), decided to switch to Canon EOS 1-series, just waiting for the right time. I think Nikon has given away on the high-end DSLR to Canon. I mainly shoot landscape and PJ, and loves to travel to exotic places - stormy desert, rain forest, high altitude plateaus and snowing avalanching mountains (>4,000m), etc. I need something SOLID.

I did extended for my in-laws when they entered last time to US. When they entered next time they entered without any issues.
Last time time also lot of my friends scared me (immigration people will stop them at the port of entry), my another friend (both husband and wife doctors), they bring there in - laws everytime they will extend it to 3 times approxmately they will stay in US 2 years, they left several times and entered into US without any issues.

i-94 expire 10/01/2007. married 09/12/2007. i-485 received by uscis on 11/26/2007.

Your authorized period of stay ended on 10/1. Your marriage does not matter. The only reason you MAY be able to adjust status in your situation is the fact that you married a U.S. citizen. It is VERY risky to leave the United States before your I485 gets approved. Please consult an attorney before doing so. AP does not guarantee re-admittance especially when one was EVER out of status.

Hi ,
My 180 days have passed and I have an approved 140. My job was filed in 2002 in EB2 as s/w engg. In this job i moved to project manager in IT. Now I am getting a job offer for an awesome company, nice pay and as a program manager. the role is still in IT but it will be more managing.
Would this be a safe bet to take by choosing AC-21?

IMO you should be OK. just don't do anything foolish like telling INS about your AC 21, and keep doing some technical work once in a while to justify your 140.

Is Canada an option? Its a safe bet to get it stamped in Canada.You will get your passport back the same day or the next. You shouldnt have any problem related to transit visa as long as you stay inside the airport.Check with the respective consulates.

Dear Friends,
After putting lot of pressure to my company the company lawyer did concurrent filing of i-140 and 485. The application was submitted and received my Nebraska on July 27th 2007.
I have not spoken to the attorney, when I called his office; his staff gave me a FedEx number for my application which showed that it reached Nebraska Service Center. I am assuming that the application was send out. My checks are not yet cashed; I have not received a receipt notice or any other document. Is there anyone else on my situation, I am starting to doubt if my application has gone out, please advice

yeah I like the updated splash... and about my page... I know it is huge it is in NO way permenent... just something I am toying with, I'll end up only using elements of different pictures on that page for my splash.. plus I didnt compress the images at all - like I said VERY temporary. I'll let you all know when I update my splash along with my new site

After i consulted my friends and after going through some other posts i figured that F1 is the best option i have now.
My fiancee is interested in pursuing her higher education, but just wanted to find out if it would be OK that i sponsor her education and state that her fiance is in US with green card at the time of visa application?.. would this cause any problems for getting her F1 visa?
OR should she not mention anything about me in any stage be it in University Admisssion process or the F1 visa application process?
I know all of the other options (H1, L1, B1 and GC sponsor for spouse) would require much time.
aravindhome-- i'm not sure how fast can she get a canadian PR and then come to this Country?...On what basis is she going to enter this country?

4. An apology from USCIS for the delay!!
i think we should have USCIS director come home personally to deliver sincere apology in both verbal and written for making people from india file GC and provide detailed explaination for reasons of the delay....thats the only way for him to keep getting our business in future...

Thanks for your reply. The consulting firm is saying that they have sent it to DOL before July 15 and are waiting for the reply for the Substitution( I really doubt the legality of that statement). In case if there is a provision then How can we check the status of it?
MY friend has to bear the expenditure for the I140. He just came back to US after 5 months and would like to know weather he can spend 1500$ on this unrealistic Labor.

I dont think you can check LC status on your own by just calling up DOL, the petitioner (the employer) or their representative can. See if they'll atleast give you a case number that you can try your luck with.
Atleast with PERM you typically need to sign the LC and send it alongwith the I-140 application. Ask for a copy of the approved LC. Also, ask if they are ok with you using your own attorney for this (its worth the expense).
